Allan participates on search strategy and candidate evaluation and assessment for Chief Executives as well as senior management professionals across several functional areas, including finance, operations, sales/marketing and human resources. His client and board relationships encompass leading public and private companies, small family-owned companies and early-stage, venture-backed start-ups. Client industries include consumer products, industrial, technology, business services and financial services.

Prior to his career in executive search, Allan was Senior Vice President of Dart & Kraft Financial Corporation. He was previously the President of Gelco Express and Gelco Fleet Management, both major subsidiaries of Gelco Corporation, a NYSE-listed transportation and business services company. Allan also served as Executive Vice President, Board Director and Executive Committee member for Gelco Corporation before its acquisition by GE Capital.

Allan began his career with Western Electric Company, at the time a subsidiary of AT&T, in various supervisory positions in manufacturing facilities in Oregon and California. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon.
