Kathy Mathias, Managing Director, joined Stone Murphy in 1987, and manages national searches across a variety of industries and functional areas. She has conducted searches at the Manager, Director, Vice President and General Manager level for small privately held companies to Fortune 500 corporations. Her clients include companies from the following industries: high technology, banking and financial services, printing and publishing, consumer and industrial manufacturing, education and non-profit. She recruits professionals for corporations within human resources and organizational development, accounting and finance, operations, and engineering.

Kathy is also responsible for managing the firm’s Sales and Marketing practice, where she has completed searches in marketing, product management, sales and sales management. She has also been involved with a number of assignments where specific diverse work force goals were indicated by the client.

Kathy graduated from Bethel College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Prior to joining Stone Murphy, she worked for Bethel College in their Career Development and Psychological Services departments, and KPMG Peat Marwick in their National Human Resource Consulting and Executive Search practice.
