Kirk Gove, Managing Director, joined Stone Murphy in 1998. He is responsible for managing searches across a variety of industries, with an emphasis in financial services and technology. He has conducted searches in the banking, investment management, insurance, manufacturing and consulting industries for Fortune 500 companies, regional corporations and venture capitalists. His experience includes recruitment at the Manager, Director, Vice President and Senior Vice President levels in the areas of corporate marketing, product development, sales and sales management, marketing communications, finance and strategic planning.

Prior to joining Stone Murphy, Kirk worked as an Associate for Kenzer Corporation, a national executive search firm. He was previously a Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Investment Advisers Incorporated (IAI), a British owned investment management firm, and a Vice President and Product Manager for Dain Rauscher, one of the nations largest regional securities firms. Kirk graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
