Marci Ytterberg, Senior Associate, joined Stone Murphy in 2000. She manages executive searches across a variety of industries and within diverse functional areas, with a particular emphasis on sales and marketing. Marci also recruits professionals within operations, engineering, finance and general management. Her search experience includes upper middle management through executive level placements for clients ranging from small, privately-held companies to Fortune 100 corporations. In addition, Marci has led searches for clients in the business services industry and the non-profit community.

Prior to joining Stone Murphy, Marci worked as an executive recruiter for The Wood Group for nearly four years. Her professional background also includes over ten years of progressive sales and marketing experience in both the service and manufacturing industries. Marci began her career in 1986 with Westin Hotels and Resorts in San Francisco where she worked for three years in sales. In 1989, she joined an equipment manufacturer and power plant development company, Kenetech Corporation, in their International Business Development group. In 1992, she was promoted to Manager of Business Development and moved to the Midwest where she was responsible for sales, marketing and project development in a nine-state region. Marci is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs. She has lived and traveled extensively overseas and speaks French and Spanish fluently.
