Toni Barnum, Partner, joined Stone Murphy in 1983, and is responsible for managing the firm’s Financial Services practice. She is recognized as an expert in the recruitment of financial services professionals. Clients served are investment management firms, investment banks, private investment and real estate funds, insurance and trust companies, and banking institutions headquartered in the Midwest. Toni has conducted national searches in the functional areas of portfolio management, investment research, trading, corporate finance, marketing and sales for both fixed income and equity products. Other assignments include recruitment of senior level professionals for corporate lending, operations, due diligence, compliance, legal and product development.

Toni also recruits financial professionals for corporations within treasury, strategic planning, marketing, investor relations, corporate development and finance functions.

Prior to Stone Murphy, Toni began her career at KPMG Peat Marwick in their Audit Practice, and then worked as Manager of Corporate Human Resource Information Systems for General Mills. She graduated from Northern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
