Our client, located in the Twin Cities
of Minnesota, is a registered investment advisor that offers fixed income,
balanced fund, indexed equity products and actively managed real estate
securities to a myriad of clients. This position is responsible for
selling institutional investment management capabilities to consultants,
corporate plan sponsors, endowments and foundations. The primary
responsibility of this person is to successfully close new business
opportunities and increase assets under management through both direct
marketing efforts as well as through consultants. Qualifications include a
minimum of three years in institutional asset management sales experience
with ten or more years of overall experience in the financial services
industry. Demonstrated track record of sales ability and success in
business to business environment is required. A solid understanding of
equity, fixed income investments, asset allocation, performance
measurement, attribution analysis, AIMR standards and regulatory issues is
required; previous relationships with asset management consultants is
preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is
required; an MBA or CFA is preferred.
